Matty "Ice" McKay

Matt moved to Seattle with his first band Seymore Goldfish at the young age of 19 and has been immersed the Seattle music ever since. Matt wrote his first song at age 12, picked up the saxophone and guitar and took classical piano lessons and played bass for his HS Jazz choir. Writing has been his passion and has worked in many genres from Punk and Jazz to Americana/Folk, Metal and Rock. In 2014

Matt fronted his first solo project Reaper Machine. Mixing punk and rock to create hard driving fast living road worn songs to rock your socks off. Recently Matt has played with several bands including keys and sax for The Big Medicine, bass for Mercy Parker and Big Pig Apocalypse and has helped several artists, including Chris Sloan, with writing and recording solo projects. Matt is currently playing bass for Tiny Monsters and Big Pig Apocalypse and keys and guitar for Chris Sloan and the Dirty Birds.

Matt “Reaper Machine” McKay has been playing music in Seattle since the early age of 19, having moved from Southern Oregon in the early 90’s.
